Spining Shoes

I did buy a pair of shoes for spinning. I was told that if there was one item that would help me it would be the shoes. I payed $49.00 (some of the shoes for bikers can go up to hundreds of dollars). I did purchase the little clip (SPD Cleat SM-SH51 with nut) for $19.00. A few blogs ago I told you I had the salesperson at the sports store to put the clips on. Ok, the next embarrasing moment was getting the clip to fit into the clip on the bike pedal. I have learned to go into class early and let the instructor know I am new to the class. Yesterday, class 4, I was able to put the clips in the holder in under a minute. Last night I went to a level 2-3 class because I like the instructor. There were about 20 people in the class and almost 1/2 appeared to be boomers. All I can say is I finished the class. My spin rate may have been a little less than the others but I fnished. The teacher does encourage us to get to know one another. (no ipods blocking conversation in this group) So even if you are a little reluctant to get out and spin remember everyone in class attended the first class a little clueless, just like me.
