Vintage Betty Crocker
Ok, how many of you boomers have one of the origninal Betty Crocker Cook Books on a shelf in your kitchen. Probably got it as a shower gift when you were married years ago. Well it is time to get into the 21st century. Even Betty Crocker is on line. http://www.bettycrocker.com/
I have found myself watching Rachael Ray, reading her cookbooks and her montly magazine. One of my favorite bloggers. http://nutritiousjunk.com/ reviewed the magazine on her blog. Nutritious junk sounds a little far out but the LA Hungry Waif does look at nutritional value of many processed foods. Right now I am trying new recipes but in September when I am working again and cannot devote my day to cooking I will be using some quick pre-made meals.
My new daugher-in-law has been learning to cook from Rachael Ray and she has cooked up quite a few scruptious dinners.
