What do Chinese teens want? Interesting article on http://www.msn.com/ today. The group is composed of teens and 20s who by 2015 will be 500 million strong. This is close to double the US popoulation and will make up 36% of the population of China. "This is the 'have' generation, the single children who carry the expectations of their whole family - groomed from an early age to compete and win." Marketers are still figuering out what makes them tick. What does this have to do with me you may ask? I would follow the trends of this group to direct how I might invest in the future.

Li Yuchun was voted winner of "Super Girl" and American Idol like competiton. She received 3.5 million votes to win the title. She has been called "Mongolian Cow Sour Yougurt Supergirl."
