Serious Injuries Prompt Recall

Mattelis recalling Polly Pocket magnetic play sets. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a hazard aleert for the tiny magnets inside the dolls and accessories that can fall out of the dolls and accessories and be swallowed by young children. There have been 3 reports of children who swallowed the little magnets and have required surgery to remove the batteries. As my daughter was flying out the door this morning to go car shopping with her dad she paused to ask what I was blogging about this am, I told her about the Polly Pocket recall. She loved to play with them as a child. She said she did not remember the older version having the magnets. As boomers who may already have grandchildren please spread the word.
